Assignment #2- Attributes Part 2
As the goddess of reason and intelligence, I must always lead wisely and fearlessly. I only fight battles in association with defending my people. I also created many items including the horse bridle, chariot, pottery wheel and a ship. Items that represent myself consist of a shield and a spear. I was born just outside of the city of Olympus. In my honor, festivals have been created. The most important festival is titled Panathenaea. It was originally a harvest festival but then evolved into a celebration of me. My brave and wise acts have inspired many artists to create artistic pieces projecting me as a warrior. I am one of the virgin goddesses, but I do enjoy the company of men, and I like fighting alongside them in necessary battles. I am a handy goddess, creating many items to improve the lives of others. I am wise, kind, well tempered and skillful, but much like other gods, I expect respect. I have helped man people, including Perseus, Bellephoron, Argus, and Hercules, building positive relationships with them. My father, Zeus, and I are incredibly close and I am often thought of as his favorite child. I also fought with the Greeks during the Trojan War. I do not have many enemies, but one of the few enemies I have is my brother Ares, the god of war. Symbols that represent myself include an owl, symbolizing wisdom, and an olive branch.
